Judas Priest wurden bereits 1969 in Birmingham gegründet. Mit ihrem 1980er Release „British Steel“ gehörten sie zu den Gründungsvätern der New Wave of British Heavy Metal und setzten mit Singles wie „Breaking the Law“ oder „Living after Midnight“ neue Standards in der Heavy-Szene. Vierzig Jahre später sind die Mannen um Sänger Rob Halford noch immer schwer unterwegs. Ihre Diskografie umfasst 18 Studioalben, unzählige Gold- und Platinauszeichnungen und den einen oder anderen legendären Wacken-Auftritt, so wie diesen aus dem Jahre 2015.
